This project is inspired when Mary told me the story of her and her Nana making Pennsylvania Pot Pie and how she wished that she had left her the recipe in her will.  That started me thinking of all the times I didn't quite get the recipe right because my family used pinches instead of measuring cups!

Smell something and it could take you to another time with a smile on your face and a tear in your eye.     So much of our lives revolves around, or is remembered with cooking.  Start talking about family gatherings or a loved one and you probably end up talking about something that happened cooking or a recipe.   Look at a picture of your grandmother and you can almost smell her kitchen, her baking bread, making you raisin bread without the raisins.

So enough about me:  Tell us your story that goes with a favorite recipe that reminds you of them.   Remember the good times.  Keep it short and you can even include a picture.
